Nikita Lipunov

Nikita Lipunov is a 2nd year master student at MGIMO-University (International Relations faculty, ‘Russian Foreign Policy and Diplomacy’ programme). Previously Nikita received a bachelor degree in public international law with specific focus on legal aspects of international energy cooperation. The sphere of his professional interest includes Russian-Nordic relations, international relations in the Arctic and Russian foreign policy ideology. Nikita is currently an intern at the MGIMO Laboratory of International Trends Analysis. He’s also secretary general of the Arctic Youth Leaders Council, chairman of the Russian-Nordic Youth Forum ‘Northern Dialogue’ and founder of Scandinavian Club MGIMO Nordlys. Nikita speaks English and German and also studies Spanish, Norwegian and French. He’s fond of tennis, Alpine skiing, classical, jazz & alternative music and theatre.
