Lucas Risinger is a Master’s candidate in Regional Studies: Russian, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia at Harvard University’s Davis Center. His primary research interests concern economic development and international trade in the post-Soviet space, with a particular focus on Ukraine. He earned his B.S. in economics from the University of North Carolina before spending a year in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan as a Boren Scholar. He has also spent time in Georgia and Poland in impact investment and think tank research.
