Beau Staso

Beau is a MSc candidate in Russian and East European Studies at the University of Oxford. He earned his BA in International Relations and BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. While an undergraduate, he studied abroad in Estonia and Kyrgyzstan to improve his Russian language skills. His research focuses on international space cooperation, Soviet and Russian space strategy, and the commercialization of outer space. Originally from California, Beau enjoys water sports like surfing and waterskiing and is always in desperate need of sunshine.
