Christina is currently pursuing an MSc in Russian and East European Studies at Oxford University. She previously completed a Master’s degree in International Relations and Global Conflict in the Modern Era from Leiden University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Social Sciences. Her Russian-German heritage, combined with academic experiences at St. Petersburg State University and internships in Latvia and Berlin, enriches her research with a nuanced cross-cultural perspective. Christina’s academic focus lies in the prevention and resolution of conflicts in post-Soviet states, with a particular emphasis on Russian foreign policy. Her current research explores the Russian diaspora in Germany and Russia’s use of hybrid strategies abroad.
