Originally from Germany, Cora is a second-year MPhil student in Russian and East European Studies at the University of Oxford. She holds a BA in History and International Studies and a BSc in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania as well as an MRes in Economics from the University of Warwick. Her research interests include gender economics and health economics; she is currently working on projects studying female entrepreneurship in the Caucasus and the Covid-19 response in Belarus. Cora is also a keen statistics tutor and overall data enthusiast. In her free time she enjoys distance running, reading historical fiction novels, and trying to convert people to Star Trek.
