Davit Gasparyan is a M.A. student pursuing Regional Studies-Russia, Eastern Europe, Central Asia at Harvard University’s Davis Center. His primary research interests revolve around the EU’s Eastern Partnership, the varying European integration processes of post-Soviet countries and the Russian reaction to them. He earned his B.A. in Political Science (with a minor in French) from U.C. Berkeley, where he focused his research on democratization and human rights in the post-Soviet space. Davit has also worked on these issues and similar themes through his internship position at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) and his fellowship at the European Stability Initiative. Davit has also held a few positions that allowed him to engage in the advancement of human rights in Armenia, and he hopes to deepen his work in the region going forward.
