Elisabeth is a PhD candidate in political science at Sciences Po Paris. She studies the role of the Russian Orthodox Church in environmental issues in pos-Soviet Russia. After having completed her studies in Slavistics at the Ecole normale supérieure in Lyon, where she defended her Masters thesis (2016), Elisabeth graduated from the Public Policy Masters program at Sciences Po (2018). During her last year at the Ecole normale supérieure de Lyon, she lived eight months in Moscow as part of a university exchange program with the Lomonosov State University. She is currently part of a research group on volunteering in contemporary Russia, led by researchers from the Higher School of Economics and the Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS). She has always had a strong interest in Russia’s history, sociological landscape and political role.
