Ermin Mujezinovic is an M.A. candidate in Regional Studies: Russia, Eurasia, and Eastern Europe at the Harriman Institute. Ermin also is an active-duty U.S. Army Special Operations Forces Civil Affairs Officer. Most of Ermin’s academic and military work has been focused on the Balkans. Ermin graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in 2012 with a B.A. in International Studies and History with a minor in Spanish. Following graduate school, Ermin will teach at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Ermin is originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina and moved to the U.S. as a war refugee. In his free time, he enjoys running, cycling, hiking, and spending time with his family.
