Flora Harutyunyan, originally from Armenia, is an M.A. candidate and a Fellow at the Center for Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies at Georgetown University. She completed her undergraduate degree as a Davis International Scholar at the University of Florida, where she pursued a double major in Political Science and Spanish. Her senior thesis focused on Women’s Substantive Representation in Armenia from 1995 to 2017. Her current research interests include borders, ethnicity and energy politics in the South Caucasus.
