Gabriele is Lithuanian-American—born in Vilnius, and raised in New York. She is currently a Master's candidate in the Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies program at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. She previously completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University with a degree in psychology. Her academic interests include Eastern European security, Russian military strategy, hybrid warfare, information operations, and national security policy. Her most recent research focused on Baltic security policies and perceptions. She is a native speaker of Lithuanian and studies Ukrainian at Georgetown.
