Jordan Dickens is a first-year M.A. in Regional Studies - Russia, Eurasia & Eastern Europe (MARS-REERS) student at Columbia University’s Harriman Institute. His primary research interest is the cultural history of the Soviet Union during perestroika, particularly as it relates to the AIDS crisis. Prior to arriving at Harriman, he received his B.A. in History & Political Science from the University of Florida. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, going to the theater, and running in Central Park.
