Olga is Master's candidate at Harvard's Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia regional studies program. In 2022, she graduated from Harvard College in 2022 with a degree in Economics and a minor in Government. While in undergraduate, she worked as a research assistant and interned for the U.S. government. Her undergraduate thesis examined the Russian informal labor market and its determinants. Olga's current research interests focus on the way in which memory and historical narratives are utilized to formulate post-Soviet conceptions of identity, as well as how these ideas influence Russian foreign policy and understandings of security in the post-Soviet space and beyond.
