Philippine is a MSc student at the University of Oxford reading Russian and East European Studies (2025). With a strong inclination for geopolitical strategy and defence matters, her current research explores the role of intelligence in the contemporary Russian understanding of conflict and war. She is particularly interested in Russian interference in France, situating it within the broader dynamics of hybrid warfare and Moscow’s evolving relationship with Western Europe. Prior to that, she completed a BA in International Relations at King’s College London in the Department of War Studies with a thesis looking at the influence of the Russian New Right on the Kremlin’s policies. Committed to bridging the gap between research and policy and helping shape informed responses to contemporary security challenges, Philippine holds an offer to join Sciences Po Paris next fall as part of their MA in Security and Defence in her home country, France.
