Thomas Worth is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Political Science Department at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His research interests focus on the intersection of gender and international security, the measurement of gender identity, and the history of international thought. His dissertation examines the so-called "gender gap" in public opinion on the use of military force in the United States. For over five years he has taught political science at UW–Madison on topics like US foreign policy and global conflict resolution. He currently serves as the graduate student representative on the Executive Committee of the American Political Science Association Women, Gender, and Politics Research Section. Previously, Thomas received a BS from Portland State University, an MA from the University of Chicago, and worked as a political outreach specialist.
