William Mitchell Reid

William is a second-year MPhil student of Russia and East European Studies at the University of Oxford. He graduated in 2021 with a BA in French and Russian Studies at the University of Manchester. Originally from London, UK, William has lived, studied and worked in Kazan and St Petersburg, Russia. His research focuses on the ways in which Russia's literary heritage informs the strategic narratives of state-media propaganda since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
